Portland State University and OCD successfully implemented the Department of State's 2-year Professional Exchange Program

The Department of State’s 2-year Professional Exchange Program was implemented by Portland State University successfully by Portland State University during 2012-2014. OCD is the local partner of Portland State in this high-level executive development program, having co-organized for 2 cohorts of Vietnamese professionals to visit the US and 2 cohorts of American professionals to visit Vietnam.

How far will Portland State reach to promote the value of diversity?

PSU recently teamed up with the U.S. State Department to bring Vietnamese and American business professionals together. The two-year initiative, called the Professional Fellows Program, helps make the roughly 7,500 miles between Portland and Vietnam seem a little shorter.


Thematic Study Abroad: Come and study Sustainability at Portland State University

PSU hosts 8 Vietnamese Fellows as part of the State Department Professional Fellows Program

The Center for Public Service at Portland State University will host eight economic empowerment fellows from Vietnam participating in the U.S. Department of State’s Professional Fellows Program. The Professional Fellows Program brings emerging leaders from around the world to the United States for intensive fellowships designed to broaden their professional expertise.

Ten Years of Challenges, Ten Years of Commitment

This year OCD marks its 10th anniversary as a year-long “Ten Years of Challenges, Ten Years of Commitment” journey. To celebrate this important milestone, throughout the year a series of events will be organized, including thematic customer conferences, special 10-year edition of the “Leadership and Change” newsletter and especially the week-long Journey to The West Coast of USA  in March 2013.
