| The Sustainable Development Consulting Company (SDC) becomes a Local Partner of the OMT program |

Being the first local partner of the OMT program, SDC has immediately signed up a core trainer to the Illinois Online Network’s Master Online Teacher Certificate Program and supported OCD trainer team to conduct training needs assessment of SME exporters in the central highlands. Other activities in the pipeline include further Training of Trainers by OCD to SDC’s trainer team to enhance their training delivery capacity and possibly joint development of training programs customised for flowers and vegetables exporters in Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces. Following this model, OCD plans to qualify and sign up more local partners, making them important linkages between the OMT program and the locally-based SME exporters, who are the ultimate beneficiaries of the OMT program. OCD will work hand in hand with local partners to deliver the OMT program to SME exporters in the four focus provinces of Ha Tay (now merged with Hanoi), Nghe An, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa, eventually expanding the coverage to other regions and serving not only SMEs but also bigger corporations.
