In August 2008 SNV partnered with OCD and MCG, two leading local capacity builders with experience working on new-concept initiatives,  to jointly carry out a nation-wide survey to explore the active interest of Vietnam’s business community to engage in Inclusive Business  projects.

Inclusive Business aims to build bridges between business and low-income communities for the benefit of both, contributing to poverty reduction while at the same time supporting the fundamental role of business: to generate profits. Inclusive Business was introduced by the Alliance between SNV and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and has been successfully piloted in Latin America in recent years.
